Another steep jump of positive COVID-19 tests were reported in Dallas County Wednesday, according to the Iowa Department of Public Health.
There were 18 new cases in Dallas, bringing the total for the County to 1,194 since the pandemic arrived. Thankfully, there were no new coronavirus-related deaths reported in Dallas County, so the total casualties remains at 29, and the IDPH also reports that 987 patients have fully recovered. There were no new cases or deaths reported anywhere else in the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area Wednesday, so the totals remain at 64 cases, 58 recovered, and four deaths in Guthrie County, 28 cases with 20 recovered in Greene, and 15 cases with 11 recovered in Adair.
Statewide Wednesday, there were 463 new positive tests reported, bringing the total to 29,410 since the start of the outbreak. There were also four more coronavirus-related deaths around Iowa, for new total of 717. The IDPH also notes there have been 279,793 negative tests to date, and 23,553 recovered.
