The Panora City Council has scheduled a town hall meeting for the possible change of a City ordinance, though it will be conducted in a fashion to safeguard against COVID-19.
The town hall will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 13th at the Panora Veteran’s Auditorium, for those who’d like to address the Council regarding the consideration of allowing all-terrain vehicles and utility vehicles to be driven on Panora City streets. The Council wishes to hear from all citizens for and against the proposal to aid in the drafting of a potential ordinance. Written comments are recommended and will be read at the meeting.
Those who want to attend in person must register by 2 p.m. Friday July 10th, in order to protect the health and safety of the Council and other attendees. They will assign five-minute time slots based on the order registrations are returned, and attendees will have to wait in their vehicle until they are called to come into the auditorium at their allotted time. The meeting will also be recorded for those who’d like to view it in its entirety. Registration forms can either be emailed to City Administrator Lisa Grossman or left at City Hall. The form can be found below.
