The Panorama baseball team racked up another conference win Thursday evening when they hit the road to take on Earlham.

The Panthers went into the contest 3-1, winners of back to back games with victories over Des Moines Christian and Saydel their last two trips out. Panorama set the tone early with a three run first inning. They were able to sneak another two runs across in the second before the pitching staff for Earlham calmed things down. From then on the Cardinals would shut out the Panthers. Unfortunately for Earlham, Panorama brought their quality arms as well only giving up a two-spot in the sixth and shutting out the Cardinals in the other six innings.

The Panthers will host the defending state champs later this evening when undefeated Van Meter comes to Panora. First pitch for varsity is set for 7 p.m.
