On Saturday, the #5 ranked team in Class 4A Softball, the Dallas Center-Grimes Fillies will be back on the diamond in a weekend tournament where they look to return to mid-season form.

On Thursday, DC-G Softball hosted a doubleheader versus Little Hawkeye Conference rival, Pella Christian.

DC-G’s offense, somewhat, disappeared this week, as they dropped a pair of games in the middle of the week.  Falling to #1 ranked Carlisle 3-1 in extra innings on Tuesday, and then following that up with a 3-0 loss to Indianola on Wednesday.

The Fillies will face Ankeny Centennial tomorrow morning at 10:00am, and will follow that up with a game against one of the best teams in Class 5A Softball, Fort Dodge, at 1:3opm.
