After having games on Monday night against Woodward Granger, the West Central Valley Wildcats are having a couple of days to iron out things that need improving before they get on the road tomorrow against Des Moines Christian.
For some teams in the state of Iowa, playing against competition every day is going to get the most out of them, but for the Wildcat teams, finding a balance of getting plenty of practice time while finding quality competition for young teams isn’t easy but they are finding a good line. The things that both teams will be focused on the next few days is making big contact with swings, working on fielding to lower errors, and continuing to work with pitching staffs to ensure good quality outings.
