A 4th of July tradition will return this year in Jefferson.

The City of Jefferson is once again partnering with Wild Rose Casino and Resort in Jefferson for a fireworks display. The show will take place at dusk on July 4th behind the casino building near the intersection of Highways 30 and 4. The City contributes $3,000 from the fire department’s fireworks account and the casino pays $7,000. J&M Displays will be handling the fireworks show.

The event is free and open to the public. The casino parking lot will be available for those wanting to see the show. Officials urge everyone to practice social distancing against further spread of COVID-19 during the event.
