A Granger woman was recently arrested for violating her probation from a previous conviction in Greene County.

According to court documents, 40-year-old Melissa Marie Kroupa violated conditions of her three-year probation sentence from a 2018 conviction of a Class D Felony for third degree burglary. Kroupa’s probation officer filed a report on April 20th alleging that Kroupa has been staying at a residence in Grand Junction without permission from the probation officer, failed to secure a full-time job, and has twice tested positive for methamphetamine through urine testing.

This is the third time Kroupa has been found to have violated her probation. Court documents show that if Kroupa re-engages in mental health treatment services within three months, she will continue to serve probation, otherwise she will be subject to having her probation revoked and the five year prison sentence imposed.

Kroupa was arrested this past Tuesday and was booked into the Greene County Jail. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
