The West Central Valley softball team took on Grand View Christian in Des Moines on Thursday night, and unfortunately were unable to get much going offensively ultimately falling to the Thunder by the score of 10-0. The Wildcats were only able to get a pair of hits on the night with singles by eighth grader Zoey Dickson and freshman Kamryn Nourse.
Grand View Christian had a big night offensively, as they were able to record six extra base hits, and were able to put on four runs in the first and three in the third as well. After scoring 2o in their first game, they have been shutout these last couple of games against first good teams.
For the Wildcats, they will look to get back on the scoreboard and into the win column with a week on the road. Their next game will be against Woodward Granger.
