The West Central Valley Wildcat baseball team has had a fast start to the season as they played their third game in three nights against Nodaway Valley on Wednesday Night. They unfortunately couldn’t get their offense clicking as the Wildcats were shut out by the Wolverines in the contest 13-0.

The Wildcats were unable to get anything going offensively all night long as they fall to 0-3, while Nodaway Valley improves to 2-1.

Through three games they’ve had five runs, though they have faced three teams thus far that all had winning records during the 2019 season. For the Wildcats, they will need to continue to hone their skills and stay patient with a young team.

The Wildcats will have a few days off before returning to the diamond next week against Woodward Granger.
