Adair County Health System and Guthrie County Health Services are still in need of face coverings to help protect those most vulnerable during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Both counties are running low on fabric masks, and they’re calling on local sewers for help. Any size, fabric, color, or style is welcome in order for the health departments to offer the masks free to the public. For Guthrie County, donations can be dropped off at the Health Services office at 2002 State Street in Guthrie Center, and sewers are encouraged to call notifying the staff that you’re able to make some and how many you’re willing to donate. In Adair County, masks can be dropped off anytime at the Emergency Room door at the hospital or at Greenfield Lumber during their business hours. Adair County Health System and Guthrie County Health Services thank the communities for their continued support during this time.
