The 5th ranked ADM Tiger softball team defeated Perry 9-0 in Raccoon River Conference softball Wednesday night at the PAC. The game was tight for the first five innings with ADM leading 3-0 heading into the 6th. The Tigers created a little breathing space scoring three times in the sixth and three more in the seventh. Abby Hlas led the way with a pair of hits including a solo homerun in the fifth inning. Freshman lefty Aliyah Yanga dominated inside the circle allowing just a pair of hits and one walk while striking out 10 Perry batters. Lydia Olejniczak and Kennedy Tunick provided the only offense for the Jayettes. Sophomore Jayna Kenney took the loss for Perry, pitching well allowing nine hits over seven innings surrendering five earned runs. ADM improves to 2-0 while Perry falls to 0-2. The Jayettes travel to Saydel tonight for a 7:00 game while ADM battles Carlisle in a top five showdown.
