Two individuals were arrested Monday in rural Dallas County on burglary charges.

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, 37-year-old Jeffery Michael Heater of Bagley and 32-year-old Danielle Marguerita Miles of Ankeny were arrested in the 15000 block of H Avenue southwest of Perry. They allegedly broke into a vacant residence and removed several items before being caught. Both are charged with 3rd degree burglary, a class D felony, and Heater was also charged with possession of burglary tools, a serious misdemeanor. Additionally, Heater had several other outstanding misdemeanor warrants, including: two charges of 3rd degree burglary – unoccupied vehicle, two charges of 3rd degree theft, and one charge of operating a motor vehicle without owner consent.

The pair was booked into Dallas County Jail, and Miles has been released after posting bond. Heater is currently in custody on $17,000 bond. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
