Two new COVID-19 related deaths have been confirmed in Dallas County as well as additional positive cases across the Raccoon Valley Radio-listening area Wednesday.

The state dashboard shows 28 total deaths have occurred in Dallas County, with nine additional cases for a total of 1,037. Of those confirmed 680 individuals have recovered. Greene County has two new cases for a total of 23 with 14 that have recovered. Guthrie County has an additional case for a total of 60 with 42 that have recovered and four deaths, according to the county’s dashboard. Adair County also has a new case for a total of 12 with nine that have recovered.

In Iowa there are an additional 214 confirmed cases and eight new deaths Wednesday. This brings a total of 24,379 positive cases, 15,155 recoveries, and 671 deaths. Raccoon Valley Radio continues to provide the latest information on COVID-19 as it affects the listening area.
