Nate Mueller had a tremendous junior campaign on the running circuit, being the state champion at the class 3A level in the state of Iowa. He has been training and staying in shape for his senior campaign, as he looks to attempt to get back to back state championships.

Mueller was recently down in Arizona to run in the Desert Dream run, competing at the 3200 meter run. He ran a blazing time of 9 minutes and 10 seconds. The time is incredibly fast, and one that is truly one of the best that ADM high school has ever seen. According to the ADM Track and Field Twitter page, Mueller’s recent 3200m performance was a school record by over 17 seconds & also ranks #12 in the nation right now. It is the 2nd fastest time ever run by a junior in Iowa & #18 all-time in Iowa’s T&F history.

Mueller will be competing in races throughout the summer and continue to train to stay in shape for the fall season as well. It is an incredible accomplishment for the to be senior, and Mueller will look to continue to elevate this star status in the near future.
