Gilbert scored six times in the top of the first inning and never looked back defeating Perry 16-1 in non conference baseball Tuesday night from the PAC.  The five inning loss spoiled the coaching debut of Aaron Lyons.  The varsity boys basketball coach accepted the baseball job earlier in the year and inherited one of the youngest teams in the state of Iowa.  Perry will host ADM tonight in the conference opener.  You can listen to the game on K 107.9 and raccoonvalleyradio.com.
