Both the AC/GC baseball and softball teams were in action Tuesday night when Madrid came to town.

Both teams were looking to bounce back from late losses to Woodward Granger. The baseball team fell in a hole early giving up 13 runs in the first two innings. The Chargers were able to keep the Tigers at bay for the next few innings with solid relief efforts from Andrew Mahaffey and Lucas Marsh. AC/GC clawed back to bring the score to 13-6 before the Tigers were able to reopen the bleeding by adding three more runs in the sixth where the game would end 16-6.

The softball team had much better luck with their outing. AC/GC found their swing early and often as they were able to pick up their first win of the season courtesy of a 11-4 victory.

Both teams will be back in action Thursday when Plesantville comes to town. You can listen to the softball game on the free KKRF-2 livestream online at RaccoonValleyRadio.com
