Monday, June 15th

9:50am: Marjorie Sims reported she had fallen victim to a Phone Scam. The caller had gained access to her computer and was demanding bank account information to let her log back in. She did not provide any information to the caller.

4:21pm: Dawna Helms reported her mother is living in a nursing home and is receiving Scam Phone Calls. The officer advised her to block the caller’s number.

6:20pm: An officer checked the area of the 300 Block of Deer Run after dispatch received a 911 Hang Up Call from the area. No one needing assistance was located in the area.

7:12pm: A Traffic Stop at Washington and Locust Streets resulted in Jade Milledge of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Have a Valid Driver’s License.”

7:35pm: A caller advised of a dog locked in a vehicle parked at 777 Wild Rose Casino. The officer spoke to the owner of the vehicle, who was leaving the facility. He advised he thought he had left the vehicle running for air conditioning.

7:57pm: An officer noticed a Stop Sign wad been struck and damaged at 220th and Elm Streets. The DOT was notified to replace the damaged sign.

9:41pm: Jana Schmitt requested a Welfare Check on a family member at 504 South Oak Street. The officer made contact with subjects at the address and found everything to be okay.
