The West Central Wildcat softball team will get the ball rolling today when they play their first game of the season when they take on the Panorama Panthers at home in Stuart. The Wildcats will be looking for a great first game, as they hope to play a game that is limited with mistakes, pitches that can be executed well from the pitching staff, and get good competitive at bats as well.

The Wildcats will have a young team with only two seniors in Jenna Merical and Ellie Smith, and both are expected to have an impact on the team this year.

In the two contests that were played between these two games last year, Panorama was able to sweep the season series winning 15-10 and 9-4 in two high scoring games. This will be the first of a three game stretch for the Wildcats this week. First pitch from West Central Valley High School will be at 5:30, as the girls looking to start the season on the right foot.
