Friday, June 12th

4:30am: An officer assisted with a stranded motorist at the intersection of 220th and Pioneer Avenue.

5:15am: Staff at Sparky’s (606 Highway 30 East) reported suspicious activity. An officer is investigating.

10:45am: An anonymous complainant spoke with an officer about a parking issue on Sunset Road.

11:45am: 3 parking citations were written in the 700 block of Sunset Road.

12:23pm: Chad Sloan spoke with an officer about a parking issue in the 300 block of East Madison Street.

3:53pm: An officer responded to the 200 block of West McKinely Street for a report of two juveniles spray painting graffiti under the overpass. The officer located the two juveniles. Criminal Mischief charges for the juveniles are pending. The degree of the Criminal Mischief charges will be decided once an estimate to repair the damage is obtained.

5:02pm: Sam Schmitt spoke with an officer about a civil issue regarding a vehicle’s registration.

8:19pm: June Wood reported a dog running at large in the 1000 block of West Adams Street.

8:47pm: An officer responded to Home State Bank (115 West State Street) for a Burglary Alarm. Everything was found to be okay.

Saturday, June 13th

7:17am: The Greene County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance with a welfare check in the 1500 block of 235th Street.

3:32pm: Dispatch received an abandoned 911 call from 504 North Wilson Avenue. Everything was found to be okay.

3:46pm: An anonymous caller spoke with an officer about suspicious activity occurring in the 1200 block of Westwood Drive.

4:04pm: An officer responded to South Elm Street and 250th Street for a driving complaint.

6:20pm: An anonymous complainant reported a dog running loose in the 200 block of South Cedar Street.

6:26opm: Vicki Williams spoke with an officer about a parking issue in the 700 block of Sunset Drive.

7:08pm: Ariel Mills reported a large pothole at the intersection of South Locust Street and Garfield Street.

7:29pm: Lisa Mobley reported suspicious activity involving a male at Sparky’s (606 Highway 30 East).

11:04pm: Officer responded to Hyvee Fast n’ Fresh (106 West Washington Street) for a Burglary Alarm. Everything was found to be okay.

Sunday, June 14th

7:53am: An anonymous male advised of juveniles at Russell Park who were harassing him.

11:41am: Greene County Dispatch received an abandoned 911 call from 607 West State Street. Everything was found to be okay.

2:53pm: Greene County Dispatch received an abandoned 911 call from 211 East Wilcox Way. Everything was found to be okay.

4:52pm: Greene County Dispatch received 2 abandoned 911 call 777 Wild Rose Lane. Everything was found to be okay.

**** As a result of unpaid parking tickets from 05.02.2020, Matthew Hopkins of Jefferson was issued (2) citations for Parking Prohibited.
