The Perry City Council will convene Monday evening in regular session.
The meeting will begin with a public hearing on the budget amendment for fiscal year 2020, followed by consideration of the amendment for approval. In old business, the Council will consider three separate change orders for the McCreary Community Building renovation project, as well as pay applications for the overall project and the mechanical systems. That will be followed by consideration of a work order, design grant application to the Federal Aviation Administration, a pay request, and two land purchase agreements, all related to projects at the Perry Municipal Airport.
The Council will then set a public hearing on an application for a Community Development Block Grant for water and sewer projects, and will consider the continuation of the 28E agreement with the City of Dawson for the combined fire departments. In new business, there will be discussion and possible action regarding changes to an existing street light, followed by a resolution to amend a plat of survey to combine parcels in the City. Finally, the Council will consider setting employee salaries for fiscal year 2021, and an application to the FAA for funding under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
