Thursday, June 11th

10:22am: A Burglary was reported at 301 West Reed Street. The subject cut a hole in the bathroom wall to gain access to a coin machine. The subject was able to take $1200.00 in change and caused a reported $1000.00 in damages to the building. The officer is investigating.

11:04am: Fareway requested an officer at 1207 North Elm Street for a Shoplifter. The officer arrived and met with store officials and the male suspect. He had placed a bottle of Fireball Whiskey and multiple packs of Kool-Aid in his pockets. Due to a medical condition, an arrest was not made on-scene. The officer has requested Arrest Warrants for Jody Lyn Schad, 44 of Jefferson for, “Theft 5th Degree – Simple and Driving While Barred – Aggravated.”

11:53am: A caller advised of a semi blocking traffic in the 900 Block of West State Street. The officer did not locate a truck in the area.

1:14pm: Officers assisted the GC Ambulance with a Suicide Attempt in the 100 Block of East Central Ave.

3:02pm: Moe’s Mart advised of a male subject placing garbage in the store’s dumpster at 303 North Elm Street. The officer contacted the subject and advised him to stop the practice.

4:34pm: Thomas Patrick reported his neighbor’s dog was defecating on his property. The officer advised the neighbor to clean up the waste and not to allow his dog access to the neighbor’s yard.
