The City of Dawson is once again experiencing issues with their water lines, and service will be down a few hours tonight.

Dawson City Clerk Sherry James tells Raccoon Valley Radio that contractors hit another water main Thursday afternoon, once again interrupting water services. The same type of incident occurred Monday. Once the water main is repaired, the City will be under a boil order until tests for bacteria come back clean. While the order is active, residents are advised to boil all water prior to consumption, though it can still be used for cleaning and bathing.
