Robert Samuel Sawbo, age 30 of Storm Lake was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charge of driving while barred.

Fustino Mendez Castro of Perry was waiting to turn left from Highway 44 onto J Ave., when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Morgan Marean of Waukee. NO injuries reported. Damage to Marean’s vehicle estimated at $2000.00 and $3500.00 to Mendez Castro’s. Mendez Castro was cited for no insurance and Marean was cited for failure to stop in an assured clear distance.

Charles Ripperger of Jefferson was traveling in the 18000 block of Highway 141 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $4500.00.

Susan Kingsbury of New Virginia was attempting to make a left turn from Highway 141 onto I Pl., when she was struck by a vehicle driven by Peggy McLuen-Coleman of Perry. No injuries reported. Damage to McLuen-Coleman’s vehicle estimated at $1000.00 and $1000.00 also to Kingsbury’s vehicle. McLuen-Coleman was cited for unsafe passing.
