The Panorama School Board discussed changes for prom and graduation events at their meeting Monday.

The administrative team recently announced that they will not be hosting a dinner and dance for prom but instead they will just hold a grand march in the Panora square on June 27th. Graduation has been scheduled for July 19th, and Superintendent Shawn Holloway says so far the District has discussed options of holding a ceremony outside, “Well, at this point we haven’t made any specific plans and the reason for that is it’s still a month and a half away and our hope is restrictions continue to be lifted and potentially even be able to have the ceremony inside. So I would say July 1st we’ll begin to really hammer out what that looks like with some very specific details.”

In other business, the Board approved the 2020-2021 breakfast and lunch fees, with the only change from last year being a 10 cent increase for adult lunch.
