Monday, June 8th

12:19am: Peter Edward Miover (49) of Boone, was booked into the Greene County Jail for Operating While Under the Influence, 2nd Offense.

6:23am: A deputy investigated a car versus a deer accident in the 1800 block of W Avenue. Selvin Marales-Balcarcel (32) of Fort Dodge, was traveling south on W Avenue when a deer exited the west ditch. Marales-Balcarcel struck the deer with his 2003 Chrysler Town & Country van. Damage to the vehicle was sustained to the front bumper, hood, passenger front quarter panel and headlight assembly with estimated $3500 to repair. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was able to be driven away by owner.

7:20am: A deputy investigated a missing person report in the 600 block of 13th Street South in Grand Junction. The subject was located later that morning.

5:12pm: A deputy assisted with locating a house fire call. The fire was in Dallas County and taken care by local fire departments.

8:17pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint in the 900 block of Railroad Street East in Grand Junction.

10:32pm: A deputy investigated a complaint of fireworks in the 300 block of 17th Street North in Grand Junction.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
