The number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Dallas County continues to rise, as does the death toll.
According to the Iowa Department of Public Health, as of 11 a.m. Tuesday there were eight new cases and two new coronavirus-related deaths in the County. That brings the total number of occurrences in Dallas to 865, with 16 deaths and 528 recovered. Statewide, the total number of cases is now up to 17,658, up 97 from Monday, as well as 13 new casualties for a total of 471. In Iowa, 9,495 patients have recovered and there have been 117,041 negative tests. There were no new cases or deaths elsewhere in the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area as of Tuesday, and the number of recovered is also unchanged.
