There was another coronavirus-related death reported in Dallas County as of Thursday afternoon, which was one of 21 new casualties across the state.

The death toll in Dallas is now at 12, and there have been 404 in Iowa to date including four in Guthrie County. The Iowa Department of Public Health also reports there were nine new positive tests for COVID-19 in Dallas County, as well as two in Guthrie, which were among 421 new cases reported in the state since Wednesday. The new occurrences bring the totals to 809 in Dallas, 42 in Guthrie, and 15,955 across Iowa. Of those cases, 487 patients have recovered in Dallas, with 26 recovered in Guthrie, and 8,574 in the state. The numbers in Greene and Adair counties were unchanged, with 14 cases and 14 recoveries in Greene and six cases and two recoveries in Adair with no deaths in either county.
