After being closed to the public for over two months, Guthrie County offices will reopen to the public as per the Board of Supervisors’ action Tuesday.

The Board approved reopening County offices to the public effective Tuesday, May 26th by appointment only. Residents wishing to visit a County department in person must contact the office ahead of time to schedule a visit. The department heads will have discretion over what requirements they’ll enforce, such as wearing a face mask or gloves. Members of the public must then arrive at their scheduled time at the east entrance where health screenings will be conducted. Sheriff Marty Arganbright also stated at the meeting that he will continue to keep his office closed to the public in effort to protect his staff and jail inmates from potential spread of COVID-19. The Supervisors’ decision does not pertain to state offices like the Clerk of Court.
