Due to changes being made to the state dashboard for COVID-19 information, local numbers have been fluctuating.
According to the Iowa Department of Public Health as of Tuesday morning, Dallas County now has 795 confirmed positive cases, with 432 individuals that have recovered and 11 deaths. The Adair and Guthrie County dashboard reports Guthrie County has 40 confirmed cases, with 26 recoveries and four deaths, while Adair County remains at six confirmed cases, with two recoveries and no deaths. Greene County Public Health tells Raccoon Valley Radio there continues to be 14 cases and IDPH reports 12 recoveries and no deaths.
Due to the IDPH website continuously being updated with new information, some county numbers may show a difference in the number of positive cases.
As of Tuesday morning, IDPH reports 341 additional positive cases of the virus for a total of 15,296 cases statewide. Of those, 7,847 individuals have recovered and there are 367 deaths. Listen to Raccoon Valley Radio for continued coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic as it affects our listening area.
