Guthrie County residents have a week left to compound on their compassion for others during Guthrie County State Bank’s “Celebrate May Day” promotion.

GCSB customers are encouraged to do a good deed for someone in their community and post a photo about it on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #GCSBMayDay. They’re also asked to caption the photo with a local non-profit organization or business they would wish to give $500, and the deadline to enter is May 22nd. All submissions will then go into a drawing on Facebook Live May 28th, where GCSB President Mike Underwood says they will select 10 random winners to donate $500 for a total of $5,000.
