Greene County School District’s new high school on the northwest side of Jefferson remains on schedule to open this August for the 2020-21 school year. Caden Duncan is a physical education teacher in the district, as well as being head football coach, and he is in charge of strength & conditioning for all female and male student-athletes.

Coach Duncan talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about the weight room at the new high school. “The new weight room out at the high school is going to be an amazing facility. I’m very excited about it! Obviously, having Power Lift right down the road is where we’ll be getting a lot of our equipment. We’ll be working closely with them. The new weight room is going to be about twice the size and twice the amount of equipment we have now in our weight room, so it’s going to be really beneficial for when we have those big groups of kids in there, eventually when we get back to that.”

The coach added, “It’s going to be a state-of-the-art facility and is going to be really great for all of our student-athletes!”
