Originally we would’ve been a week into the softball season, but due to the corona virus we are continuing to wait the next step for the 2020 summer season for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers. The season was originally slated to get going on May 4th with games to get rolling into late May, however things have obviously changed.
There will be a lot of things to determine if they can get a season in, which will include if there will be a shortened schedule, will there be a limit on spectators, and how much preseason do teams need before they feel they can compete at their highest level.
A decision for the season is expected to be made in the coming weeks, and if there is a season to be played it could look a little different than a normal season based on a lot of tough questions. That said, players, coaches, and fans would love to get an opportunity to play and watch this year, and hopefully will find out a verdict in the next few weeks.
