William Kollie Freeman, age 29 of 1509 16th St., Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance and forgery.

Austin Gafford of Ankeny was traveling in the 23900 block of Highway 141 when he heard a loud “pop” and began to fishtail. Gafford was not able to gain control of the vehicle pulling a trailer and went into the median. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle and trailer estimated at $70,000.00.
