Wednesday, May 7th

7:50am:  A caller advised officers of her belief of an animal being treated badly by a family member. The officer could take no action based on the information but offered some solutions they could implement in the situation.

2:23pm: Les Pierce spoke with an officer concerning a Civil Property Issue occurring at 701 North Cedar Street.

5:01pm: A caller advised of a subject removing property from an Abandoned Residence in the 300 Block of South Pinet Street. The officer did not locate anyone in the area.

8:10pm: John Sturgeon reporting catching a stray dog dragging a cable at 503 West State Street. The officer placed the animal in the Animal Holding Facility.

8:14pm: Michael Larson reported a dog left the yard at 304 South Chestnut Street and attacked his dog as he walked past the residence. The officer spoke to the animal’s owner at 304 and learned the Invisible Fencing batteries had gone dead and the system failed. The owner was directed to keep the animal inside until the fencing issue was fixed.

8:30pm: Jeanette Pierson reported two dogs running freely in the 200 Block of North High Street. The officer was not able to locate the reported animals.
