Portions of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening saw another increase of positive cases of COVID-19.

According to the Iowa Department of Public Health on Thursday there were 655 new positive cases of the virus, bringing the statewide total to 11,059. Of the new cases, 18 were from Dallas County, which now stands at 655 positive cases. Greene County added two cases for a total of 13 and Guthrie County remains at 32 positive cases.

There were 12 additional deaths from the virus reported Thursday for a statewide total of 231 deaths. However, 463 additional recoveries were added Thursday for a total of 4,266 statewide. IDPH has a new tracking tool that was added to their website, which can be found by clicking the link below.
