The Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center and Panorama FFA chapters are following West Central Valley’s lead in holding their annual spring plant sales online.
As school buildings are closed for the rest of the year, those wishing to buy plants from either chapter can order online. ACGC’s pickup times will be from 3-6 p.m. May 6th at the Adair Presbyterian Church, as well as 3-6 p.m. May 7th and 8th and 9 a.m. to noon May 9th at the high school greenhouse. They will not be scheduling appointments, but they ask the public to be cautious of others and combine orders within your family to keep traffic to a minimum.
Panorama will be holding the sale by appointment only from noon to 6 p.m. May 4th-8th, noon to 4 p.m. May 9th, and by appointment only after May 10th. Those who don’t complete an online order form are asked to come to the sale between 4-6 p.m. on the sale days. Those who have already reserved a time will be served first.
These plant sales are major fundraisers for local FFA chapters, and non-plant lovers are also welcome to send donations to the chapters to help with upkeep of their greenhouses and pay for student activities.
