
Additional positive cases of COVID-19 have been added to the current number of cases in Dallas, Greene and Guthrie counties.
The Iowa Department of Public Health on Thursday reported 302 additional confirmed positive cases of the virus for a total of 7,145 statewide cases and there were 14 additional deaths. Of the new cases, Dallas County had 60, Greene County added three and Guthrie County had two. The total positive confirmed cases for each county is Dallas County with 318, Greene County with five and Guthrie County with 12. According to IDPH, Dallas County has tested 1,032 people and 87 cases have recovered. In Greene County, 91 people have been tested and one has recovered. In Guthrie County, 102 people have been tested and five have recovered.
IDPH officials say on Thursday there were 1,028 additional negative tests, 335 people are currently hospitalized and 2,697 have recovered. There are a total of 35,552 negative tests statewide. Raccoon Valley Radio will continue to provide updates as COVID-19 affects the listening area.
