With the summer softball season still a go for now, teams across the state of Iowa will be looking to continue to practice social distancing while also continuing to get and stay in shape and prepare for the season as well. The Wildcats of West Central Valley team will be looking to build off of a five win campaign for the 2020 season, and will be returning some key players.

Jenna Merical was the leader of the team from a year ago with leading the team in hits, RBIs and tied for home runs as well. She also posted a team high seven doubles on the season, and was key to the success of the team. They also will be returning post of their pitching as well, and should put together a solid lineup for that this year.

Teams around the state will be waiting regarding the future of the summer season, and like all of the other programs, the Wildcats will be hoping to take the diamond this year.
