One of the most decorated athletes in Panorama history is continuing to make noise at the next level.

In the recent winter sports season, 2019 Panorama graduate Bailey Beckman completed her freshman season with the Dordt University womens basketball team. Beckman found the court in all 32 of the Knight’s games. She averaged just over 17 minutes per game during her inaugural season. During her tenure at Panorama, Beckman was a scoring machine scoring 1,579 points in 96 career varsity basketball games. She showed great potential in her first season averaging just under nine points per game coming off the bench.

Beckman was also a standout track and field star for the Panthers. Her senior year, she finished third in the long jump event at the state championship meet. She also holds Panorama records for long jump and a quarter of the 1600 meter relay. Beckman was also preparing for the track and field season for Dordt, before Covid-19 put an end to all collegiate spring and summer sports.
