One new positive case of COVID-19 in Guthrie County and eight more in Dallas County were confirmed by Governor Kim Reynolds Thursday.
The newest numbers bring Guthrie County to a total of five confirmed cases, with four already recovered and 72 people tested. Dallas County has 67 confirmed cases with 37 recovered and 592 people tested. Statewide, the Iowa Department of Public Health was notified of 176 additional positive cases for a total of 3,924 cases. Six deaths were also reported including one in Bremer County, one in Muscatine County, and four in Polk County. In total there have been 96 deaths in the state, with 1,492 cases recovered and 282 currently hospitalized. There were also 842 additional negative tests today for a total of 25,338 negative tests to date.
