Tuesday, April 21st

1:50am: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 300 block of Howard Street, Rippey.

7:34am: A deputy investigated a theft int eh 500 block of State Street, Scranton.

9:46am: A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint in Paton.

2:50pm: The Sheriff investigated a single vehicle rollover accident on 160th Street near P Avenue. Keaton Bass 18 of Fort Dodge lost control of a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu and rolled it onto it’s top in the north ditch of 160th Street. The vehicle was totaled in the accident. Nobody was injured and they were wearing their seat belts.

4:38pm: A deputy assisted a jailer with an unruly inmate in the jail.

5:25pm: Matthew Goff 46 of Perry was booked into the jail for disorderly conduct, assault causing bodily injury, trespass, and public intoxication.

8:03am: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 800 block of Jay Street, Churdan.

Wednesday, April 22nd

12:03am: A deputy assisted the Carroll Police Department with locating a missing child.

2:06am: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 2200 block of 337th Street.

4:22am: Michael Lyons 19 of Rockwell City was booked into the jail on a Calhoun County arrest warrant.

5:15pm: A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on Y Avenue near 235th Street. Christian Andres 20 of Perry turned from 235th Street onto Y Avenue in a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazed. Andres lost control of the vehicle and entered the ditch causing an estimated 2,500 dollars damage. Andres was issued citations for no insurance and failure to maintain control.

7:34pm: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 2400 block of 337th Street.

10:30pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 900 block of 270th Street.

Thursday, April 23rd

2:28am: A deputy investigated suspicious activity near the Grand Junction sewer plant.

7:12am: A deputy investigated a possible burglary in progress in the 400 block of North 13th Street, Grand Junction.

7:29am: The Sheriff investigated a careless driving complaint on 220 th Street near J Avenue.

7:32am: The Sheriff investigated a reported accident on the Railroad tracks on J Avenue. A vehicle that had left the scene caught a large piece of the crossing tearing it out. The south bound lane of J Avenue is closed until the tracks are repaired.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
