The West Central Valley Wildcats found out about their spring sports being cancelled last week, and also found out for their summer sports that the start time for those have been delayed back as well. The new start date for the suspended summer sports season is June 1st until teams can take the diamonds, with games to soon follow if the date were to hold.

The state softball and baseball tournament schedules have not changed, with the girls softball tournament to happen in Fort Dodge from July 20th-24th and state baseball to happen from the 24th-1st at Principle Park in Des Moines.

There could be some changes on the schedule between now and then, but for now, baseball and softball teams are still hoping to get going on June 1st.
