Starting today, the Perry Water Works Department will be executing an annual process, and they advise the public to be aware of it over the next several weeks.
The spring fire hydrant flushing program starts now and will take approximately three weeks to complete. While maintenance is being done in your neighborhood, crews remind residents that they may experience low water pressure for a short time. It’s also possible that you may experience discolored water, and if that’s the case you should flush your home plumbing until the water clears up.
Anyone with questions about the fire hydrant flushing is encouraged to reach out to the Perry Water Works at 515-465-2562.
