Former AC/GC standout Noah Nelsen made his presence felt at the collegiate level.

The 2019 graduate was among the best cross country runners in the state and he proved that at the state championship race where he finished in fourth place his senior season. Nelsen’s success continued in the spring when he placed fourth in the 3200 meter race at the Class 2A state track meet last year, which was the highest finish in Charger boys track and field history.

In his freshman season at Simpson he was a staple in their varsity lineup throughout the year. His best finish was in 20:20 at the Buxton Invitational in August which earned him 12th place in the event that the Storm earned first-place as a team. He also aided Simposon tie for 10th place as a team in the NCAA Division III Central Regional championship race.
