Panora residents are advised of an application deadline that’s been extended to receive grants for home repairs.

Residents have until April 23rd to apply for up to $24,999 in funds from the Community Development Block Grant program. The funds can be used for rehabilitation projects including lead-based paint reduction, window or roof replacement, siding, foundation repair, and installation or replacement of gutters. The City of Panora can award six grants, and homeowners cannot have purchased their property through a land contract, must have current homeowner’s insurance, and be current on their property taxes.
