The Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce isn’t going to let a little quarantine get in the way of providing entertainment for the community.
The Chamber is hosting a free virtual concert Saturday evening, featuring a popular local band. Brick’n Bob will perform a show on Facebook Live tomorrow from 5-6 p.m. on the Chamber’s official page. Chamber Director Deb Bengtson believes the event will be a fun way for people to break from their isolation blues, while still maintaining proper social distancing due to the COVID-19 outbreak. She says though the community may not be able to connect in person, the virtual concert will be a fun way to still join your neighbors and friends for some Saturday night entertainment.
Bengtson also points out that the first Rock’N Friday concert of the summer will most likely be held virtually. Cardinal Sound will still play at the Adel Stage and Pavillion on May 15th from 7-10 p.m. However, if the prohibition on large gatherings is not lifted by then, the public will need to attend it online instead of in-person.
