Portions of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area will be under a winter weather advisory later today.

According to the National Weather Service, Dallas and Guthrie counties will be under a winter weather advisory from noon on Thursday through 7am Friday. These counties could see between 2-5 inches of snowfall, while Greene County is estimated to get less than one inch. Snowfall will be light this afternoon, before turning into heavier amounts this evening. A reminder for motorists to be aware that travel may be difficult and drive to the conditions of the road.
