A Jefferson man was recently sentenced for an incident from last October.
According to court documents, 21-year-old Austin Taylor O’Connell pled guilty to a serious misdemeanor for unlawful possession of a prescription drug. Court documents show O’Connell had his one year jail sentence suspended and was placed on informal probation for one year. The charge stemmed from an incident on October 30th.
The Jefferson Police Department began the investigation following a fire that happened in O’Connell’s apartment in the 300 block of Lincoln Way.
