Cruising car events were held in Panora, Stuart, and Guthrie Center this weekend, with a couple appearances from a certain cotton-tailed creature.

The first scoop the loop event since COVID-19’s spread in Iowa was held in Panora Friday night, where vehicles drove east and west down Main Street, while the Easter Bunny waved at motorists and encouraged them to honk in front of Donovan Construction. Local businesses and residents got in the spirit Saturday night in Stuart for a cruise night, as the Stuart Fremont Theatre and Johnie’s Tap both sold food curbside, and local Girl Scouts sold “Drive Thru” cookies. The Easter Bunny then hopped over to Guthrie Center for their Scoop the Loop Saturday night, the second week of their nostalgic vehicle gathering.
