Several Guthrie County recipients were announced to receive a portion of more than $10 million in grants through the Iowa Small Business Relief Grant program.
The first round of grants were released this week, with more to come as the program has $24 million available to allocate for immediate, short-term cash flow assistance amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Guthrie County recipients are Do Drop/Just One More LLC with $5,000, LaVilla Mexican Restaurant Inc. with $12,200, Menlo Cafe with $15,000, and Terry W. Harrison with $10,000.
Grants awarded range from $5,000-$25,000, and businesses with 2-25 employees who have been economically impacted by COVID-19 were eligible to apply. More information on the program can be found here.
